• You have probably heard of Sid Meier's Pirates at some point, or at least of Sid Meier. You may not have heard yet that you can get it for 50% off this whole weekend! Normally $9.99, Sid Meier's Pirates on Steam is currently only $4.99. Always have heard good things about this game and it looks like a good pirate adventure, though not something I have personally ever played. Check out the trailer above and hit the jump for more info.

  • I hope that by now everyone has played at least some of Psychnoauts, but I also know that is not true. So, for those of you that haven't, take this chance to buy it half off! Normally $9.99, until March 13th you can get Psychonauts on Steam for only $4.99! It's a few years old now and starting to show it's age, but is definitely one of my favorite platformers of all time. Watch the trailer and hit the jump for more info.

  • On sale today only, as part of the big 2K sale, is Mafia on Steam. Normally $9.99, today will be 75% off knocking it down to $2.49. Though not exactly a new title anymore, definitely a cheap fix for the next 18 hours remaining of htis deal. Hit the jump for more info.

  • Axel and Pixel is a beautiful looking hand drawn adventure game normally priced at $4.99, but for this weekend you can get it 50% off ($2.49)! This game has intrigued me for awhile and must have intrigued some others because it even made it's way to XBLA (though much more expensive!). Check out the trailer above and hit the jump for more info.

  • Just Released: Zombies Ruined My Day on Desura. This game looks to bring about wave style survival zombie killing. Quite a charming trailer and an unoriginal, but still fun concept. It's hard to deny enjoying lots of weapons and hoardes of zombie killing; at only $3 it's a pretty cheap fix. Check out the trailer and hit the jump for more info.

  • Just released: On the Shoulders of Ancestors on Desura. I wish the trailer didn't have this Steven Hawking thing going on, but the concept is pretty interesting. You are trying to climb up to reach the stars, but while doing so you are on an extremely short life cycle. Before your Lemonite dies you must lay an egg to allow a new one to be born. As the new born you can now use the carcass of your ancestor to stand on top of and reach higher ground. Weird. Check out the trailer and hit the jump for more info on this $5 indie title.

  • Just released is Chester on Desura. Chester looks deliver a unique and highly art driven platforming experience. Judging by the trailer, there is a whole bunch of crazy stuff going on and also a whole lot of unlockables. It looks like this game has been out for awhile and is only $1 for XBLIG, but the PC release will run you $9.99. Check out the trailer above and hit the jump for more info.

  • Just released on Desura is an old-school style shoot 'em up called Debug Formulation. For the low, low price of $2.49 you can now enjoy that Space Invaders style feel, but with up to date mechanics. I don't think there is really much else to the game except that high scores and achievements are still to come in a future update, and you can try out the demo for free. Hit the jump for the links.

  • Start your Monday off with a little bit of savings for Gish on Steam! Normally priced at $9.99, for today only you can get it 75%, marking it down to only $2.49. Gish has been around for a long time, so you've probably heard of it and hopefully even played it, but if you haven't now is your chance! You know what do from here, trailer above, more details following the jump.

  • Currently Octopede is 25% off on Desura! Granted, the game is already cheap to begin with so it only drops it from $2.99 to $2.49, it is technically a discount. This game claims to be "the evolution of snake." It has you eating up kilobytes and megabytes trying to "cache" your tail (don't know what means). It even has enemies, bullets, power ups and bosses! It looks to provide some pretty entertaining arcade style gameplay judging from the trailer. Hit the jump for more info.

  • What a great way to start off your Saturday! Atom Zombie Smasher on Steam is 75% off today making it only $2.49! Atom Zombie Smasher is sort of a tower defense, RTS, but also sort of a zombie outbreak simulation. You get to place helicopters along with heavy artillery to try to slow down zombies from infecting the civilians and giving the civilians safe zones so they can be transported away from the zombie outbreak. Have only dabbled in this game, but it has great style (as you can tell from the trailer) and was a good amount of fun. Hit the jump for more info.

  • It's Friday and new games are still being released! This time it's an all new zombie-puzzle combo, Containment: The Zombie Puzzler. It looks to be a "swap 2" style puzzler in which you are trying to surround the zombies with people that can destroy them, thus eliminating them. The description is kinda weird and doesn't make me very interested in this, nor does the 4:3 resolution, but I'm guessing that's because this is also available on iOS. But watch the trailer, judge for yourself, it's only $3.99 right now. Hit the jump for more.

  • Looking for more tower defense to occupy yourself with? Well then the release of iBomber Defense Pacific on Steam may be of interest to you! It is now available for $3.99 ($4.99 regular) for Mac and PC. The games description claims that iBomber takes tower defense to a "whole new level", but it sounds like it's just a regular tower defense game to me since they don't go any further into actually explaining why. Hit the jump for more.
